Airdrie Ladies FC
COMPETING IN THE SWF CHAMPIONSHIP SOUTH LEAGUE
Diamonds in the Community teamed up with Airdrie Ladies at the start of 2020 for what should have been a very exciting season for Womens football in Scotland following the League restructuring and the Ladies team entering the Championship South League.
However, Covid 19 put a halt to the season after only a handful of games. But while the season may have been postponed the club were in the position to set up a football pathway for local girls looking to play regular football potentially leading to them playing in the Ladies team. They have teamed up with Airdrie Community Club Girls who currently have Under 11, 13 & 15s girls teams currently with potentially more age categories coming in the future.
The Ladies team have now started the new 2021/22 season and you can get all the latest news and fixtures on their Facebook page here

COMPETING IN THE IFA LEAGUE
A fans football team seat up in 1999 who play in the IFA League against other fans teams from around the country, they also regularly play in tournaments featuring teams from all over the UK.

The team is focused on creating a fun social circle of friendship, however they do take their football very seriously. The team also do a lot to promote good mental health amongst young males, working with the Back Onside charity.

They welcome anyone from the local community who is interested in playing regular football and are happy to give them a trial.
Clarkston Colts Community Club
Formed in 2016 by a group of likeminded parents who came together to set up a community football club. The team was created entirely for the benefit of the children who play in it.
It was unique in a number of ways; the children were from different backgrounds and ability but with a common goal of developing new life and social skills, based around the principles of fair play and the enjoyment of football irrespective of ability, gender, race, colour or religion.

Their dedicated team of volunteers support players in multiple age groups.
They welcome children from Airdrie, its surrounding villages, Coatbridge, the rest of North Lanarkshire, and beyond. Everyone is welcome at The Colts.
We don't just focus on football; we help shape the lives of our young people.
In 2022 Diamonds in the Community decided to sponsor the shirt of Clarkston Colts for the inaugural DITC Sports Award in Memory of Derek Cowan.
